With its rich lines that mimic classic wood door construction, EnerLux offers strong, energy efficient, durable, low-maintenance fiberglass entry & French doors that are impervious to water, insects, salt air and ultraviolet rays. The fiberglass door will not crack, peel, bend, warp or stick due to expansion and contraction. Features of our door system include:
Double Pane and Triple Pane Glazing: Our door system allows for standard 1″ double pane glazing and 1 3/8″ triple pane glazing for optimal energy efficiency.

Double weather strips: Most doors feature a single weather strip on the door frame. Our doors feature a Qlon foam seal on the frame and a secondary Qlon foam seal on the door sash.
Chemically fused corners: The door sashes are chemically fused together with our proprietary Super Strength Corner (S2C) System.
Four inch hinges: All doors come standard with four, 4 inch Deltana hinges.
Annodized Aluminum Sills: Our standard sill is an extruded aluminum dark bronze annodized sill.
Benefits of Pultruded Fiberglass Doors vs Fiberglass Skin Doors
Durability: Core materials can vary on fiberglass skin doors, (wood, foam, polyurethane, etc…), so any water penetration can damage the core material through expansion and cause the fiberglass skin to blow out. Water has no effect on 100% pultruded fiberglass door frames.
Triple pane glazing: Our 100% pultruded fiberglass door can accommodate 1 3/8″ wide triple pane insulated glass units for superior thermal performance. The glazing options on fiberglass skin doors are limited to 7/8″ or 1″.
One material: A fiberglass skin door product typically has several different types of materials in its construction, (wood, foam, polyurethane, composite bottom rails/astragals, etc…) which can create gaps and deficiencies at the joinery whereas our 100% pultruded fiberglass door only has one material.
